A World Link Event is an event that is split into a series of chapters, one for each character. Each chapter revolves around a particular character and has its own rankings. Instead of the players using Event Points to progress through the story, the episodes are instead unlocked at predetermined schedules.

World Link Events have rankings and Exchange Shops for both the whole event and individual chapters, but these differ from regular events in the following ways:

1.) Each chapter has Chapter Rankings, which last only for the duration of that chapter.
2.) Chapter Rankings do not grant individual Titles for the 1st to 100th place. Instead, anyone who places in these ranks get a "Top 100" Title.
3.) Chapter Exchange Shops only accept Chapter Tokens.
4.) The Exchange Shop for the whole event only accepts World Tokens, which you can get by trading in Chapter Tokens.

During these events, each SEKAI will evolve to reveal new possibilities in response to the characters' feelings changing over time. As of September 2025, there have now been a World Link Event for each of the six groups.
